Summer is on vacation

We are in for some cool nights.

The season of swimming and bar-b-cue may be over this year, but just because summer has flown south for the winter doesn’t mean your air conditioner gets a vacation.

What do you mean?  I don’t use the air conditioner in the winter.

If you have a heat pump, your air conditioner is also your heater.  All it does is change the direction of refrigerant flow, so now it pumps heat into the home, and cold outside.  If it isn’t in tip-top shape, you may be in for some high heating bills, especially if you are using electric heat strips.  Click here to learn why.

What if I have gas?  Am I all clear?

If you don’t have a heat pump, you might have a gas furnace.  If it’s been a while since your last furnace inspection, there is a whole list of reasons it might not heat.  The reality of gas is that it is dangerous, so there are a whole bunch of safety systems in place to protect your family.  Each one of these systems is made up of several parts – any of which will stop your furnace from heating, even if just one part has failed.  Click here to learn more.

Hybrid systems too.

If you have a heat pump with gas back-up, we have you covered too, so we are your one-stop source for heating repair.
