Simply turning on the heat and feeling warm air is not a good way to be sure.  Low refrigerant, dirty coils, or weak fan motors may have just barely let you make it through the summer, but when winter sets in, so do the insane heating bills!

The most expensive heat.

Your heat pump most likely has a secondary heat system in the electric heat strips, and that is the most expensive heat your system makes.  If you had low refrigerant, for example, your heat pump can’t do its job as well as it should.  These systems are really good at automatically changing to the secondary heat if they need to, and when they do, it is like pulling the plug on your bank account and letting it drain from the bottom.

Your home feels warm, but now you are paying as much as double to enjoy a little comfort, so let’s stop the money leak, and get your heat pump working as it should.
